The European Mobility Week is an initiative of the European Commission that, since 2002, has been promoting sustainable urban mobility with events and activities all over the EU.
The 2025 edition is dedicated to “Mobility for Everyone” to stress the importance of guaranteeing accessible, safe and inclusive transport, regardless of income, residence, gender or individual skills.
Urban Lab Torino has also proposed a programme of meetings and initiatives to illustrate future projects, the changes underway and the prospects of mobility in the city.
On 17th and 18th September at 12.00 p.m. two round tables will be speaking about the concepts of walkable city and intermodal city.
On 19th September three question time sessions will be held to find out more about three great projects that are going to change how people move in the city: Fossata bus station, metro Line 2 and piazza Bengasi.
In addition, on 17th and 18th September at 5.30 p.m., two guided tours will be taking citizens to visit the construction site that is changing the city centre: the pedestrianisation of via Roma, in the stretch from piazza Carlo Felice to piazza Castello.
