ALIANTE

ALIANTE is the name of the project whose goal is to create an “enriched map” of Italian cities to enhance their value as cultural heritage and acknowledge their stratification throughout history, starting from Torino’s pilot case. The WebGIS-based platform will be used for the digital construction and representation of all the city data and information, with a view to highlighting their tangible and intangible cultural values. The systematization of different information, ranging from historical to hydrogeological data, in a hub accessible to all citizens, will be instrumental to monitoring the city’s environmental and anthropic risks and, more in general, its sustainable development.
