EUROPEAN PROJECT
Between 2017 and 2019 the EUCANET partnership has promoted a wide and open reflection on the role, scope and missions of City Agencies, involving researchers, scholars, practitioners and professionals from all over Europe. Theoretical reflection has been accompanied by field work: this e-book provides a collection of innovative and fore-front practices taking place in European cities and dealing with a better and more effective involvement of communities in the urban transformation process. The investigation on practices is structured consistently with the 12 Priorities of the Pact of Amsterdam. The aim is to explore how City Agencies (and similar experiences) act in the city, uncovering the existing relationships between the EU Urban Agenda contents and the operational dynamics taking place in EU urban systems.
