Seven outdoor screenings dedicated to seven European cities

For the second edition of City projections, Urban Lab (ex Urban Center Metropolitano) presents, in collaboration with the National Museum of Cinema, seven outdoor screenings dedicated to seven European cities seen on the big screen.

This initiative is part of I-Media Cities, the European project for the creation of a digital platform where sharing and promoting audio-visual materials kept in different European film archives, dedicated to the history of great cities and their representation through cinema and photography.

From 4th to 18th July it is possible to see part of the great audio-visual heritage uploaded on the I-Media Cities platform in spring 2019. The storytelling of European cities in the 20th century occurs through short videos selected by the film archives partners of the project. Each short video introduces a feature film showing the city in different historical moments between the 20th and 21st centuries.
