With two Universities ranking high at national level and a growing capacity to attract students from all over Italy and the world, Torino has been making investments to increase and improve the housing facilities and services for students and professors.
Campus Luigi Einaudi, opened in 2012, is one of the first steps for the transformation of Torino into a University City. Built in a dismissed industrial area close to the city centre, CLE is the final part of a route which starts from the Rectorate building and continues along via Verdi, touching different sites of the university urban campus. In the place of the former Italgas production plant, now there are the Faculties of Law and Political Sciences, whose spaces were designed to enhance environmental sustainability and energy saving.
After almost three years since the campus opened, Urban Lab proposes a meeting to understand how study, work and life are experienced inside and outside CLE.
